A public standard for how your site publishes
Every website has a privacy policy — a public promise about the data they take in. Almost none make the same kind of promise about what they put out.
PublishingPolicy.org lets any URL owner put that on record: how your content is made, sourced, corrected, and disclosed, posted right beside your privacy policy. And it's not just for newsrooms — if your URL puts content in front of people, you're publishing.
The bet is that it becomes a trust signal, making "what's your publishing policy?" as ordinary as "where's your privacy policy?" Privacy policies took a decade to become table stakes. Same move, one category over.
