Behavioral metrics
2026-03-20
ProductMetrics started as a reference for traditional product metrics — activation rate, churn, LTV, the numbers every product team tracks. But there's a category missing from most metric catalogs: behavioral metrics. The ones that measure what users actually do, not what the business hopes they'll do.
Four new entries: Scroll Depth, Form Abandonment Rate, Frustration Score, and Rage Click Rate. Each gets the same treatment as every other metric on the site — formula, what it measures, benchmarks, real-world examples. The difference is where the data comes from. These metrics don't live in your database. They come from behavioral tracking — the kind of thing UserActivity.ai is built to capture.
The crossover matters. ProductMetrics explains what to measure. UserActivity.ai measures it. The catalog is at 30 metrics now.
