Designing BrandYourself's privacy feature, end to end

Your old passwords, your home address, your phone number. They're sitting in people-search sites and breach dumps right now, and most people have no idea. Someone has to surface it before anyone can clean it up.

Private Info was the feature BrandYourself was taking to market, and its co-founder brought me in to design it. I led the research, IA, and UX, and built the prototypes, a tool that scans people-search listings, the dark web, and hidden trackers, then turns each exposure into one clear thing you can act on.

We tag-teamed the MVP, and it shipped that October. Within weeks, it was BrandYourself's best-selling feature. People move fast on their privacy — once you make the invisible visible.
